Recently we were in the Niagara butterfly, I had never visited a butterfly and loved the experience of seeing so many butterflies together. In the Niagara butterfly, there are more than 2000 butterflies of 45 different species are created in a whole closed dome, where the ambient temperature is controlled, keeping the tropical climate all year round. The place is also filled with plants that were thought according to the habits and preferences of each type of butterfly. As the caterpillars eat many leaves, the vegetation ends up being replaced every 2 or 3 weeks.
The whole life cycle of the butterflies is accompanied and there is even a nursery, where the cocoons of the caterpillars are carefully placed to safely do the transmutation to the butterfly.
During the tour, you will find the butterflies on all sides, so it is a tasty ride to enjoy and enjoy the beauty of each of them.
As butterflies stay in a place where the temperature is controlled, the butterfly works all year and no doubt this is a great choice of the tour to include in a visit to Niagara.
Tickets are purchased at the entrance and have a value of CAD $16.00/adult and CAD $10.25 for children from 6 to 12 years old. For children up to 5 years old the entrance is free. Learn more here.
I’m already dying to go with my family there when they come to visit.
